Women Transforming: 40+ Women's Identity and Change Support Group

Are you a woman over 40 who is feeling isolated or unheard? Are you feeling anxious, sad, fearful, exhausted, confused, or angry? Do you feel a quiet pull for something more? Perhaps you’re navigating a career shift, a significant life change like divorce or empty nest, or simply feel there’s more to claim in your life.

Women’s transition from one identity to another can include life stage, relationship status, career, motherhood, sexual orientation questioning, and any of the developmental endings and beginnings that this phase of life can include. For women over 40, these transitions can be particularly challenging.

The 40+ Women's Identity and Change Support Group is a safe, loving, supportive, creative, and inspirational space where women can share and process emotions related to life transitions. You are not alone with what you are feeling - and you don’t have to journey down this unknown road by yourself.

Group norms & access

Group norms & access: Cameras on or off—your preference. Share by voice or chat. We keep a gentle pace and honor silence; “pass” is always okay. Movement, stretching, stimming, fidgets, notes, snacks, and breaks are welcome—please do what helps. We avoid unsolicited advice; ask consent before offering suggestions. Sessions may include brief, optional practices (e.g., grounding, boundary/communication scripts, “hard-day” plans, five-minute resets, simple admin checklists) — take what helps and leave the rest. Let us know your access needs and we’ll adapt together. Every meeting is guided by confidentiality, consent, and care. This group is not a legal, medical, or crisis service; we can provide trusted resources and referrals as needed.
